I am grateful for the opportunity to provide tutoring and enrichment activities to your child. Remote learning provides an opportunity for students and teachers to interact online and for students to continue learning in the comfort of their home. Please click on the "RAZ-Kids" link to the left to go the the website. If the website asks for teacher name, type "kineticminds". RAZ-Kids is a reading program that promotes fluency and increases vocabulary. This week students will be assigned "Why Do People Help Each Other?" in RAZ-Kids. Click on the RAZ-Kids above, locate your name and enter your assigned password. Student are also encouraged to read the following books that I have listed below:
Spelling Words: (use with bingo card) 1. blues 2. bored 3. bulky 4. cast 5. karate 6. pod 7. emergency 8. health 9. help Topics for the Week: 1. Reading Comprehension 2. Consonant Practice 3. IXL is a math program that is designed to help students from K-12. IXL provides students with solutions to math problems they may not understand by providing detailed step-by-step instructions on how to complete a math problem. This week students will be working on comparing numbers. Please click on the IXL sign above to get to the website. Students should look towards the top right of the page, locate the yellow star, click on "skills suggested by your teacher" and complete the assignments provided on the list.

Legends of Learning is a math and science program that teaches through interactive games. Students will work on two components: 1. Math - fluently adding or subtracting 2. Bingo is a wonderful way to have fun and learn at the same time. The Kinetic Minds bingo card is designed or themed in conjunction with RAZ and IXL activities. Students will complete as many bingo squares as possible by the end of the week to earn points. Unlike traditional bingo, student will try and cover ALL squares to win. Please click on the button to the right to download and print a copy of the card.
